Just specify Internal as the player command for MythVideo.

The internal Myth player can play DVD's, and xine has menu support. For

you can specify Internal on the Myth DVD player settings? I never

This may sound obvious, but make it bigger until your border is gone. :)
It would be nice (hint, hint developers) if we could define margins
for the GUI and OSD so we wouldn't have to choose between borders and

Ok so I finally got my cable and have managed to get everything
working fairly decent with a few issues. One is that no matter what I

Out of curiosity, I'm assuming NVTV wouldn't work with this kind of
set up? (DVI-HDMI). I was looking but it doesn't show an option for
anything other than standard TV formats (NTSC, PAL). This could
possibly make life a lot easier if it would work but before I just go
running things I figured I'd
I'd say don't waste your time fixing it. Most likely, you don't want to
use an S-Video cable on the 57 TV because S-Video limits you to NTSC
(and NTSC is almost 52-year-old technology--it turns 52 on Dec 17).
Instead, get a more appropriate cable (VGA/DVI, depending on your TV)
and a good
1080i is an input signal type. Any HD-capable set (i.e. HDTV or HD

Hi All,
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's run in to this but I can't
seem to find anything in the existing posts really. I used to have
Myth hooked up to a 35 CRT and have since bought a 57 rear
projection TV. The only connection (display wise) that I have to the
Myth box is the S-Video

Exactly the kind of critisism I was looking for ... constructive. I'll
check samples on different screens and a couple of monitors. On my TV I
don't really notice the pixelates curves but it's just an old 35 Sharp
and there are way better displays out there. I'll poke around more with
resolutions
Hrmmm ... do you mean while watching a recorded program, bring up
the OSD and have this information shown while you view it? I know in
the list of recorded programs, it lists the date it was recorded so
that might be a little redundant unless of course someone asks you
while you are watching it
