Good question. The same thing just happened to me. I'm
following Jarod's guide to install Myth on a PIII-500Mhz (not exactly a
screaming machine). I do have a 7Mbps cable internet connection
though. Maybe that's allowing the requests to complete to fast?!
I really do appreciate all the effort

Still getting blocked as of 5pm eastern. Using apt here. I'm guessing
you've sorted and counted your logs on ip address? Maybe your getting a DOS

Axel,
How often is the blocking cleared?
I've been blocked for about a bit over a day now and I'm rather amazed
that it appears at least half dozen (or more) people are having this
problem.

It happened to me again tonight. I'm just trying to perform a simple

Hmmm... I was hoping we were all comcast, then we could assume it was
comcast. Although, SBC and comcast could both be shooting crap through
some accelerator that is making this explode, but I think it's more of
an issue with Axel. The only reason I say so, is the only problems I

For the record, I am on Optus DSL in Australia and was having the same
issue. I haven't tried since last night, but it sound like it is
re-occurring for most people.
I will give it a go when I get home and report back.

likely the blockage. What if Axel(as a test) upped the concurrent
connection limit up to 20, and made it so that it refreshes every 60
mins? To me this would seem to be a nice fix for us(maybe) That or I
