No. A plugin can return one line of output, and only one status

Did you notice the error message given to
you? The –v flag is very good at letting you know what it sees as a
problem.
You’re using the wrong config file
in your command, just like it tells you in the error statement.

I'd setup snmptrapd to listen and log to syslog.
Then I'd parse syslog with a tool like Logmuncher or LogSentry and
forward the results to Nagios via external command, or just by email.

Thanks, so the last part, "a host object for every IP that sends traps",
assuming this is the hosts.cfg file, what entry would you place there?
Thank you,

Hopefully someone out there can provide some advice on how

100+ SNMP alerts to our SNMP collector. The SNMP traps are of many

Hi Andrea,
Thank you very much for your quick reply. Two Questions:-
1. Which script should I use?
2 Should I use the Netsaint0.0.7 cfg files as my input to the script or should I use the files created by the "Nagios Config file

Thanks again.

After rebooting, all nagios functions work fine, but none of the
nagiostat graphs will display.
Initially, we thought the problem was with the services.cfg file. (At
the time of the crash, the file was open,
