Hi folks.
Does anyone know the time it takes or should take for an SVC to be
rerouted in a small 4-6 switch ATM network running PNNI ?
Is it part of the ATM spec or does it depend on the switch manufacturer ?
Thanx
Paul

congestion, and a
million other tuneable factors.
In our network, SVC (SPVCs) get rerouted at near sonet speeds, although that's
not very scientific.

The VC path has allready been setup.
In the network I work with, SVC re-routes are near instantaneous

Hi folks.
What is the most common way of doing MPLS signaling for LSP setup and
End to End QoS enforcement ?
LDP ? RSVP ? BGP-TE or OSPF-TE ?
Thanx

I'm not sure if this is a kosher question for nanog, but what the hell.
Personally, I've been very pleased with Privoxy, especially if you
don't want or need to install a full-blown proxy like Squid.
