ld hope that the
members of the list can make threads on-topic from the start rather than
starting a bunch of random ones in the hope that a few will be on-charter.
Threads tend to get moderated when they look like producing additional
off-topic messages.

A few people have pointed out that the spam-l list is being shutdown [1]
Could anybody recommend an alternative "open"[2] anti-spam orientated list

Does anyone want to do a FAQ covering the issues as to why home users
should get a /64 vs /56 vs /48 etc?
Pop me an email.

In reality the MLC hasn't even sent an official
reminder to anybody since January.
Personally I'd like to be able to recommend NANOG to my manager as a
useful resource without having to say "you have to wade through a lot of
junk and off-topic posts". Most people really
expect these to be covered on the outages list and site:

But other people on the MLC might have differing opinion about exactly
what they didn't like about the threads.

Could either the policies (now and future) please be updated to either

They moved to mailman a week or two ago. Use one of these headers instead:
List-Id: NANOG-Futures
X-BeenThere: nanog-fu

Please post a summary of the updated Committee/Administrator membership

So a 30 post thread on something mail server operational like "mail queue
retry settings" would be welcome on the NANOG list?
