Gaston, Try reducing the series dropping resistor value a little. On one clock kit I have, the neon bulbs were driven off the 170v supply each bulb with a 220K resistor in series. I was having flickering, and the kit designer mentioned that often you may need to play with the series resistor

WoW! That was quick! What is a sensible price to pay for any of these tubes these days? B5853, B5870, B5750 and the likes. Just looking for an idea of the range of prices, although I understand large quantities can push the price down, I'm just looking to have a sense of what is fair to pay.
