Libraries required for Net-SNMP 5.1

2004-08-31 Thread Gary Price
Hi I recently installed Net-SNMP 5.1 from a red-hat distribution for Proliant server, net-snmp-cmaX-5.1-83-rhel3.i386.rpm (also the devel rpm). I am using Net-SNMP to provide agentX subagent functionality. After resolving an issue in table_mfd.h and linking with the new libraries, I got a build tha

snmpVacmMIB table

2004-08-31 Thread Fong Tsui
I did walk on snmpVacmMIB table, for the last vacmViewTreeFamilyStatus data, it gave "No more variables left in this MIB View (It is past the end of the MIB tree)". It seems OID is duplicated. This is in v5.0.9 and I didn't modify that anything. Is it known an issue? Does anybody know what is

Re: Error in agent/mibgroup/ucd-snmp/disk.c in net-snmp 5.1.2

Thanks for the note. There are three places where multiplier was calculated, and all three were similar in regards to not casting to float. The 5.1 branch and main branch were changed in those three places. The change will be available in the next release. Best Regards, -Mike Slifcak Index: agent

Adding Trap destination via MIB does not work

2004-08-31 Thread George Azzi
I have added some Trap destination entries in the SnmpTargetAddrTable, SnmpTargetParamsTable and SnmpNotifyTable via an external SNMP manager but I don't receive any traps. There doesn't seem to be any association between the MIBs to the "trapsink" mechanism. Traps seem to be only sent to TrapSin
