I just discovered that the version of xcdroast in Mandrake 9.0 is not
patched for the bug that causes it to crash when reading audio cds. This
is a known bug affecting, Dutch, Eesti and Swedish.

After installing (clean install) Mandrake 9.0 I have problems with fonts
in OO. I'm using the same old .ttf fonts from Windows. I imported them
with darkfont during installation which failed to make them available to
OO so I used spadmin in my ~/.openoffice directory. Nothing strange

Hi all,
I've just enabled ide-scsi for my cd-rom drive on hdc to allow Xcdroast
to see it as well as my paride cd-burner.
However, when I prepared to change the symlink /dev/cdrom from /dev/hdc/
to /dev/sd0 I discover things are not set up as I thought due to devfs.
It looks like this.
Is anyone else having problems with OO641D and Mdk 8.1. The first time I
start OO after logging into the system everying works fine, but if I
close OO and then start it again it crashes as soon as the empty
document first shows.
Has anyone else seen this problem?

badly is beyond me as is the reason it is there, but removing it helped.
