To install the downloads, do this: rpm -Uvh name of package.rpm Do that
for each of the downloaded programs. Then run XF86Setup, by typing that.
Follow this through and you should be able to get it configured.

Go to the system tab on the K menu. There you will find a window manager
switcher. Forgot the name of it. It will say something switcher. Click
that and a dialog box will come up that allows you to pick GNOME.

Not sure how to switch the environments without having to logout and change
the Xclients. On Redhat 5.2, I was able to do it from a pull down menu that
had a switch to. I wanted to be able to switch between KDE and Gnome. Any
