Has anyone had any luck installing the trial version of VMware on
Mandrake 9.0. My attempts stop when the computer complains about header
files not matching my kernel version (or something to that effect).
I can give more info if needed.

I am currently using Mandrake 8.1. Does anyone have a recommendation for
a program I could use to record my audio cassettes to the hard drive and
then encode as MP3's? And might such a program be on the 1st two
installation CDs or the 1st commercial CD?
