I can delete the text in front of the cursor(to the right) using
. in KMail, you use Ctrl-X for
cut and so forth)
For Mandrake6 we have redefined the keys to have Ctrl-c Ctrl-v Ctrl-x,
instead of Alt-?.

A real handy utility to setup SAMBA once you have it running is SWAT(Samba Web
Administration Tool)...it runs as a web service from your linux box on port
901...I think by default...and you can fully configure your SAMBA shares, users,
printers, and passwords and a whole lot more...read the man
Windows it
prompts me for the password for IPC$...my user name and passwords are all
sync'ed...help

I might also add that through my own experience the auto configuration of a
serial port using the rc.serial file can at least for me give the wrong
settings to the system...I for whatever reason had changed my com2 settings
in the BIOS to non-standard settings and sure enough I couldn't seem to
Curious...I wonder if DiskDruid has a bug or was it maybe a shortcoming of
your PCs BIOS? I've partioned a 10 Gb HD Western Digital without a
problem...maybe thats the breaking point for DiskDruid...has anyone else
noticed this...if so maybe a quick note to the Mandrake developement team is
in
but after recompiling a new one with PPP support I still was
unable to connect...I can connect from windows98 and I was able to connnect
before with the 2.0.36 kernel so I know my modem is good...any help would be
great.
