I'm assuming Evolution is looking at the permissions on the signature file itself (or the directory it's in?). I don't think it's Evolution itself that is telling you you don't have permissions. Check the file permissions. Perhaps you moved or created the file as root? As far as putting a line

Have you tried Sound Recorder? It's in the Multimedia - Sound menu (obviously). The actual name of the program that it launches is grecord, so if you don't have it there already just do a urpmi grecord and you should be all set. By the way, I've never used this application. I imagine it'll do

DivX is not the same as the now defunct Circuit City DVD competitor wannabe Divx. DivX (also called DivX:), I believe it is) is a form of video compression. So no, you can not play your Circuit City Divx disc on Linux (or anywhere else for that matter). At least you have a nice Abyss coaster. ;)
