I've been trying to install a PCI modem with an Intel 536ep chipset. Intel provides a driver for Mandrake 10.1 (which I'm running). This is what I did: 1. I downloaded the following package from Intel's website: Intel-536ep-4.69.1-mdk10.1-up.tgz 2. I installed the 2.6 kernel-source from CD2 3.

I have a dual boot system with winxp (fat32) and mdk92. Thunderbird is installed for e-mail both under linux and under windows. My question is if it would be possible to access the same mailbox with Thunderbird when working with the windows version and with the linux version. Thanks for helping,

For the last half year, I have been using Mandrake 9.0 on my Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D laptop. During that time the sound was working fine. A few weeks ago, I did a fresh install of Mandrake 9.2. It works fine, but the sound is not working at all. Because I am a newbie, I have no idea what to do.
