i have doubt. where would be these partitions sit in a dual bott sysytem.
say for a 20 gb parttion i want three partions of totel 14 gb (i.e. c:\,
d\: , e:\ ). where would this , /, /swap,/home, /usr lie i.e in extended
dos ...is there anything like linux extended ..in which i can make

is /boot necessary?. i won't mind reinstalling windoze to
take away some space from c: drive as due to 1024 cylinder limit i may
have to make c: to 4gb.
where should i place /home, in extended dos or primary..

i am using LinNeighborhood. look for rpm at tucows.with this i am able to
mount windows share but only as root that too which are not password
protected. but i would like to know more about gnomba. also how to mount
windows share which are password protected ( of course i know the
passwords but
can anybody help me to change the default backgroud color in gvim (
