Hello,
I am trying to install/update (from LM 8.0) LM 8.2 on my laptop; but it
gets as far as configuring for PCMCIA and seems to stall and go no
further! I don't have any PCMCIA cards installed!
I can't find anyway round this and want 8.2 on my laptop to keep it
identical to my desktop PC.

Dear all,
Ever since I have had Mandrake 8.0 on my machine my clock has been
wrong. I have changed its settings many a times, but it is still
losing/gaining (don't know!) time...
Any clues/ideas?
Thanks,
Andy
Dear all,
Thanks one and all who helped me solve my dual boot (NT/Linux) problems.

Dear all,
I need to install Windoze NT4 on my Linux (Mandrake 8.0) box :( I
already have a partition of 4Gb set aside for Windoze. What's the best
way to go about this - shall I boot into my Windoze partition and
install it there? Or, can I go into Linux and install Windoze on the
partition
The laptop is a Chicony MP-995 machine. What I can get from the manual is:
Intel BGA-1 on board uPGA-1 socket for Celeron
Intel 440MX
Any guesses / answers? Should I have configured it whilst installation - or
does this not matter?
Many thanks in advance,
Andy
