Hi everyone, I read on magazine that the first virus was created is Elk Cloner. It is a virus for Unix. I am a little bit worried about virus threat in Linux. Because, I am just an end-user. I have downloaded F-Prot and Antivir for Linux for non-commercial use. Which one is the best ?. Thank

As long as you don't run everything as root, or change the ownership of all your files to a common user, you should be safe. Linux is not vulnerable like Windows due to a bit of common sense during the design stage. Note that Macintosh systems are not as vulnerable as Windows either.
