I have tried to connect to my 7.2 server and recieved no connection.
I turned on telnet in the network section of DrakConf and still no
response.
What steps must one take to enable telnet?

Jameschances are that the telnet-server rpm hasn't been
installed. If not, it'll be on the installation CD:

that I try to telnet into it I get an error message. It says something to

Check that the telnet-server package is installed.
(rpm -qa |grep telnet might help you...)
I have also seen some great things with the

I just set up a Mandrake 6.1 box but can't telnet in. I think there's a file
that I need to edit somewhere in /etc but not too sure what it is. Any help
would be appreciated.
