I have a machine similar to yours.
Take a look at Intel site (www.intel.com). There you
will find new win98 drivers and Linux drivers for you
get 1024 X 12?? (I forgot the exact resolution).

I have an Intel 810 video c
running LM 7.0, I'm not sure this will work because I don't think
the i810 driver is available by default. Take a look at support.intel.com
for the driver and instructions on how to load it.
