installed a FAT32 Hard Drive on the Second IDE interface as a Slave since the
CDROM is primary. Can I install Linux on that drive and expect it to BOOT up
since Windows XP seems to provide a BOOT from any device?

Just purchased Macmillan Linux which of course uses Mandrake Linux. It came
with partition magic and boot magic. Just wondering how hard it is going to be
to set up a dual boot? Do people usually run into any problems creating a new
partition on the fly?
