Hi, all.
I installed Mandrake 8.2 a couple of months ago, and during the install, the
system recognized my printer with no problem. Last week, we had a power
outage, and since then, the printer doesn't respond. I get an Error: can't
open output device when I use the Printer Utility Program.

I have an installation problem with my Canon BJC-240. I have LM 7.2 on a
Pentium II MMX 350.
The machine says that CUPS has conflicts with printpro-4.1.2-1
But if I try to uninstall the printpro archive I don't found it...

before, but right now I have done something wrong, and I need to know how to
delete the printers (added another one by mistake) from Mandrakes existance.

All compaq printers are actually lexmarks in a different case. last time i
checked, lexmarks aren't supported.

Hmm... I appreciate the info. However, a couple of Lexmark
printers ARE supported (according to the printer
compatibility list.)

What do you mean by 'not supported'. I've had two Lexmark printers and both
worked very well - considerably easier to setup than in windows.
