When he says Lexmarks aren't supported, he's probably thinking of Lexmark's
software-driven printers.  I had one of those hollow pieces of crap myself;
instead of having all the appropriate hardware to run, it required
software--which was only available for Windows of course.

In other words, the printer equivalent of a winmodem.
