an ATI Mach64 video card and a Hitachi CM751U monitor.
With DPMS enabled, the monitor blanks for a few seconds
after the timeout period set with xset, but then an "Invalid

When i change resolution from 1280x1024 to anything lower i have to scroll
off the edge of the screen to see other parts of the desktop. How can i
change it so that when I change resolution I can view the whole screen
whithout scrolling?
