I have the same problem with Boot Magic not being able to recognize or start Linux, though I haven't figured a fix for this yet. I believe you can get lilo to run again by booting into linux with your boot disk, setting up your /etc/lilo.conf, and then running lilo. stathis gotsis wrote: i

stathisboot into Mandrake with the boot floppy you created during your original Mandrake install (if you didn't create one then, you can use the command line utility mkbootdisk to create one now). After you get booted into Mandrake, edit (as root) /etc/lilo.conf and change the first line
