it looks like mandrake didn't come with traceroute, it that true aor am i just not looking for the write file Anyway, I tried to find one on freshmeat but they don't have a plain vanilla traceroute. Any suggestions? I'm off to look on rpmfind now...

I'm looking for a good tutorial on traceroute. Specifically, I'm looking for a discussion of the different responses you can get, especially "network unreachable". I recently saw an excellent discussion of this, I thought in a Linux tutorial/manpage. But now I don't remember where I saw it.
