Marcia,
You can Adobe Acrobat Reader right from the Adobe site for Linux. While
xpdf does read these files I think Acrobat does the job better. Give it a
shot and see what you think.

I don't understand WHY you have problems with acroread...
as I have it installed,and working fine...on Mandrake 7.02.
What seems to be the problem???

Did you compile Acrobat or install it from an RPM? The RPM's work real
well first time out-a the box.

Dear Mark and All, I am trying to read the books in Linux. My crash happened
with Linux to begin with then in the process of trying to fix things I lost
my Windows 95 also. I have reinstalled Linux but have not been able to
reinstall Windows 95. That does not bother me. I am happy to have a Lin
