In sort: KDE 2.1 Beta 2 is great!
All I did was download the RPMs and install them all at once using gnorpm.
After running "update-menus -v" and then rebooting, all was well. Konqueror
and Kmail are a bit quicker and more responsive than my previous installation
(CVS 20010115). Stability has

FWIW, I've been doing all of Chris upgrades, and thru the 20010109
update, they were problem free. With the 20010115, and 0118 updates I
began to have some 'unsolvable' difficulties. When I first tried the

released, and so far I have had few real problems (well stability could be
improved, but it's not too bad). Any reason to update to the 2.1 Beta 2? I
have been reading a lot about people having problems instaling it and
