This is the only problem I see with Linux. The fact that it is free to download and try all the distro's you want. I have tried Debian,RedHat,Storm(basically Debian) FreeBSD and MAndrake. I always end up back at Mandrake. I really like the DrakConf feature as I am a windows convert to Linux.

I am not sure if the default kernel in in 7.2 has ntfs support or not. I recompiled one of my own and added ntfs support for this reason of mounting a Win 2K part. I went to Linuxconf and selected "access local drive" then created a mount point, in my case /min/win_C and then manually
