I appreciate the comments I had before. I did buy a Clymer manual 334 for
honda bikes. It is for the twin cams etc. I found my 1986 model in there and
looked at the trouble shooting part. It does talk about checking the timing if

I had good luck on eBay for my 750 - if you like the more modern type
of turn signals. Look for turn signals that are 12volt. I've been
running my rear signals for over a year and they're great. Brighter
then stock and much smaller. My mistake is that I only bought ones
for the rear - I
Does the plate around the handle have two screws holding it on ? If it's
riveted, it gets replaced. The leak is internal and that's where the piece with
three holes would go. The O ring goes against the tank fitting.
