I have a number of bikes on battery tenders. They can extend the life of a
Walmart battery from 1 year without a tender to 5 years with one. I have one
bike that still has had the same battery in it for nearly 7 years now - because
it is always on a tender (except when I'm riding it because don
+1 on the battery tender... thats one of the things where brand makes a
diffrence too... dont get an off brand trickle charger, spend the $35 and
get a battery tender...

When I was in high school, there was a localish race rider who suffered a
chain snap on a hard launch. The chain whipped up and took his leg at the
knee, shattering the bone too badly to attempt reattaching it.
He left motorcycles, got into rally. Drove a car with a hand clutch mounted

sad story, glad he is alive. makes me want to mount cameras on the 4
corners of my bike any time i go out.
there is a guy where i live that rides a trike with a jocky shift and a
prostetic left leg... but cant blame the guy if he decides to hang up his
helmet ither

With a cover on it, like a motorcycle cover, you'd be fine. Yes, I did mean
the cap; the idea is to allow the empty tank to breathe, preventing

Interesting one model is called a Phantom. Back in the 80's I had a Suzuki
GS550L. I bought it from the Police Dept and converted it to a street bike.
(It had harley type fenders, single seat, white box on the back and the
antennas, etc.) I found a warehouse full of used GS550 and GS750 parts
I sat on one the other day. Too uncomfortable to sit on with my back problems.
As I mentioned, the Shadow RS was a perfect fit for me. That indicates that mid
mount foot pegs & a pull back handle bar are the best for me.

Must disagree, the Fury just looks uncomfortable to me.
Disclaimer: I don't like cruisers, bobber or choppers.
I'm interested in seeing Kawasaki's response to the success of the new
cbr250. If the 2013 Ninjette goes EFI I'll have to do back to back
comparison rides at dealers. :p

The fury looks bad a... especially in red. No Nighthawk in the line-up.

we could do it that weekend Allen (15th). In the meantime, I'll steer at it
