Oh, I agree, a good cleaning costs so little and solves so much and potential

was done properly. I hate chasing my tail with stuff like that, better to

The Pacific Coast shares an engine with one of the Shadows, so I'm thinking
that it should be getting at least 50 miles per gallon itself. I don't know
why mine doesn't and with all that Tupperware, it isn't so easy to find out.

Two cylinders should be slightly more efficient than four, in terms of

Twins have a smaller surface area: volume ratio than fours of the same

I don't really know, I just thought that this is one obvious difference

Joey, if you read it carefully, it does not say "foreign competition." It
says HD is facing "increased competition and foreign exchange remaining a
headwind." In other words, Polaris is selling bikes to guys who would have
bought Harleys, and the dollar remains so strong (foreign exchange) that

At this point I figure if Harley were in serious danger of going under
Polaris would lay out a chunk of change to buy them. Getting the chance to

Slow steady roll on/off motion with the throttle is the key to riding
smoothly. And is mandatory on a 100hp+ bike as throttle control is the
hardest part of riding them.

You guys think the government would bail Harley out again if they tried to go
under? Until I bought my nighthawk I had no idea that Harley almost went
bankrupt in the 80s. Tariffs on imported bikes saved them big time. It's
actually the reason I ride a 83 650 and not a 750. Pretty cool stuff.
After I typed it out I really felt a little...dumb.
I sit right around 3k rpm at 50mph in OD.
It would only make sense that if I'm sprinting at 70-80 in OD that my rpms are
probably around 5-6k. Which means more work=more gas. Even if I'm not
accelerating, I normally shift between 3-6k rpms in
