Hi everyone! I am selling a 1983 650 Nighthawk with title and parts bike.
It's a complete bike in good shape with side covers. I ran low on oil but
it still ran so I replaced the top end and then the bottom end went. The
550 is mostly complete with about 14,000 miles and a rebuilt motor that

If it leaks just a little bit put some Green Goo in the tire and ride it a bit.
It will seal any small leaks and you won't have to do all that man-stuff to it.
You can get the green goo at Walmart in the bike section. I use it on my lawn
mower tires too.

this is usually caused by a leaky intake gasket allowing
unmetered air into the engine thus throwing the ECU's PID for a loop. I know

I've got an inline filter on mine that's great. I'll see if I can fingure out
who made it. It's plastic with a gold metal filter that's cone shaped. It
barely fits in behind the carbs but it works fine.

My first response would be that you need to roll your starter over. Put the
bike
in 1st gear and roll it forwards a few feet. This will roll the starter to a
different spot and it may then engage. It sounds like a starter problem to me.
