In general, having 2 modems from Comcast wouldn't buy you much diversity... You'll probably be hanging off of the same fiber feeding whatever RF amp upstream from your neighborhood, and even further back, probably hanging off of the same CMTS... So there would be multiple points of failure.. Not

Thanks for all the quick replies. As was stated by a couple of people obviously no redundancy is achieved from a standpoint of the connection once it exits the building. I am mostly concerned with inside the office issues and whether that seems to be the predominant cause of problems with cable mo
