Hi,
I'm a newbie in ns. I find that ns-doc.pdf is just a manual instead of
a reference book. There aren't bookmarks in ns-doc.pdf. It's hard to read. I
have tried to modified the .sty files to add hyperref package and found that
hyperref conflicts with other .sty files of ns-doc. I jus

Hi list,
I am a newbie in ns2. I would highly appreciate if someone answers to the
following questions:
#1. Are there any examples on sensor network applications in current
versionof NS2 (ns

At least the DSDV implementation of ns-2.26 has an endless loop bug. I
am not sure if this problem was ever fixed. You can l
Hi Bruce,
If you enable AGT and RTR tracing (in node-config command in the tcl
file), you will see that when a tcp packet is sent out of the RTR layer,
its size is larger than its size when sent by the AGT layer. This
reflects the fact that the RTR layer adds some headers that contribute
to the p
Hi Daniel,
I reada your post below and it solved some queries on the nature of event
processing being done by ns for me too. However, I have one question. How
does ns handle scenarios like hidden/masked nodes etc? lets consider this
following scenario: Nodes 1 and 2 have had a successful RTS-CTS
Hi,
I'm trying to implement a routing protocol that's decisions depend on the
remaining battery power.
I couldn't find a way to read the remaining battery power (energymodel's
energy property) from a routing agent.
Could you please help in my problem?

Hi
I'm working on it for some days but can't actually get the flow of execution
in the code, like which
funtions(c++) are called likewise.
Suppose in simple-wireless.tcl, like from where does the code actually
starts, like i know is the "ns-lib.tcl"
calls some tcl files which initializes the sim
