is, there must be another variable that i'm forgetting,
because for 0.01 W, the received power should be 7.2e-10 6.30e-13,
I mean 7.2e-10/6.30e-13=1142 W/W, or 30.6 dB. I would like to know
where is that 30.6 dB implemented.
Thanks for your attention, kindly Tiago Junqueira
Hi people,
I'm not understanding how is processed an incoming wireless packet. I
setted the following thresholds:
Phy/WirelessPhy set RXThresh_ 630e-15
Phy/WirelessPhy set CSThresh_ 630e-15
I'm using the FreeSpace model, and a distance of 880 m with Gr=50
simultaneously (that's the entire packet) to
the Application layer with the Node id=1?
And in the end the packet is received by the -Hs 1, that is the node
ID of the BS, and then given to the FixedNode ID 1 0 cbr.

Is there a command like [$wl_node set mac_(0)] set-diuc modulation,
to change the UL modulation?

Hi,
I think you're talking about the awk scripts to interpret the output
file given by the simulator, or not? Because that files look for the
d.
I was talking about the second method:
[Method 2---modify C++ code]
The basic idea is to insert two fields, sendtime_ and pkt_id_,
in the

maxulduration=110

Hi,
I was testing the example wimax1_teste.tcl, after running, i executed:
grep ^r out.res | grep MAC | grep -c cbr
grep ^s out.res | grep MAC | grep -c cbr
and the results were Packets sent=100, Packets received =100.
And then i changed the

question is, How can i change the modulation used by the base
station, if it is not possible to use the command: [$BSWithWiMax set
mac_(0)] set-diuc $modulation?

Hi,
I want to make a simple script to measure those parameters, and i'm
changing the example datarate.tcl that came with the Nist package. My
problem is, i'm using the c++ functions that are in
http://140.116.72.80/~smallko/ns2/tool_en.htm . That funcions give me
2 files, and one of them has
that the functions are no good idea to take that parameters?
Instead of that should i use Mac/802_16 set print_stats_ true? But i
haven't found information about how to interpret that results.
Thanks! Tiago Junqueira

Hi,
When i use iperf, i can create a dataflow with a certain Udp packets size.
So i'm sure that the total udp packet will have that size, and the
real final size will have plus the header of IP and of MAC.
But what will be the Final size of the packets,
If you have the following piece of code:

hi all,
I am comparing the practical results that I got with a communication
using a communication between Subscriber Station - Base Station, and 2
PCs to generate a constant flow with iperf. The example datarate.tcl
is identical to my real situation, i just modified:
- Mac/802_16 set
After making:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/stow/nam-1.11 --with-tk=
with the tk8.4 folder inside the nam's folder, i made:
make
and i got the error:
.c:87:29: error: X11/Xmu/WinUtil.h: No such file or directory
anyone knows how to solve it?
thanks!
