Hi all
can any one tell me please where the packet type "mesage" is implemented. Is
it really an ARP packet type. And what are its function and how it is allocated

Hi Users. I hope al of u would be OK. I have been working on Mobile IP v4
implemented in ns-2.28. There is a bug in the implementation of Mobile IP in
ns2 and that have been reported by Michal in AUGUST 2005.
The modifications indicated by Michal are infact confusing me.

I am working on mobiwan MIPV6. I have installed the mobiwan Patch for ns-2.28
and using Linux RedHat 8.0. When I tried to run the simple-mipv6.tcl I
encountered the following error
Segmentation Fault
If u have a solution to that problem then I would be oblidge to u.
Thanks
Hi users I am currently studying the mobile IP behaviour using ns2.28. During
simulations I noticed a serious bug in mip implementation of ns2.28 . That is
too long handover time. It was difficult for me to trace the actual cause.
How ever in the ns mail archieves I read the same problem title

HI users
I am interested in tracing the packet processing at diffrent events/modules
as it passes during the simulation of wired cum wireless scenerio. I am infact
doing resarch in mobile IP implementation and currently using ns2.28 in REDHAT

Hi users
I tried to simulate MIP implemented in ns2.28 but the result obtained were
unexpected.The following are my observations
(1) The handoff process takes a long time than it should take.
(2) As far as the movement detection phase is concerned it is as expected

Hello Sir, How r u.
I am also confused with the mobile IP handover algorithm contained in
mip-reg.cc.
According to this algorithm, The MH must immediately swithch to the new base
station when it recieves the agent advertisement from that base station.
But when I ran the simulation for the
Dear Users
I want to study the behaviour of changing beacon periods in MIP implemented
in NS version 2.28. In file mip-reg.cc I did the binding for MIPBSAGENT between
C++ and Otcl as
bind("beacon_", &beacon_);
but when I run the tcl script it does not change the default value of 1 sec.
