I think you have to add ns2 environment variables at you .bashrc.
These variables are noted in the end of install procedure.

to include some changes in the Makefiles. Probably you can try on that.

Try descompressing the targz in your GNU system, because it could be a problem
with the privileges of the files, wich are not considered in your fucking
