Many thanks for your reply, Thangalin.
I completely forgot the before option. Of course that was the right way
to set the separation between chapter entries in the TOC.
Many thanks for your help,

Dear Wolfgang,
I am using animation feature frequently for the class materials.
It is very convenient to use \startanimation … \stopaimation.
It reduces many steps which I have to define.

Dear list,
there seems to be a bug regarding the alignment of text inside nodes.
If the TikZ picture is inside a centered or ragged left environment,
align=left is not interpreted correctly. MWE attached.
Kind regards,

Dear helpers in the field…
I have a project where I use an enumeration. However what I needed to do is to
make the spacing before, in-between and after smaller than it is in the
standard definition. All my attempts to get this right failed.
May be one of you can help me further?

Try this:
\defineenumeration[OtherMeaning][
text=,
headstyle=normal,
alternative={left}, %,serried
distance=0pt,
width=20pt,
stopper=\high{o},
inbetween=,
before={\blank[small]},

\setupnarrower[

Hi Thangalin!
thank you for your reply. It does what I was looking for. I had already
inbetween= in my definition, which I thought would be to adjust the spacing
inside a row of enumeration-items… But the before and after commands do the
trick. Even the width is great, I adjusted the value a

Dear Wolfgang,
I tested after inserting figures instead of letters in your sample code and it
also works fine.
It is so nice to know the way of using caption in the animation module.
Thank you for your help.
