No it doesn't work that way. You can log on from many places and link to the
same share without any problem, unless you configure the share to allow only
one connection.

In logon script
check to see if file exists, i.e. x:\logon.txt
if it doesn't, continue login
if it does, do logout message and logout.
In logoff script
delete x:\logon.txt
No very foolproof as the user could just delete the file and logon
somewhere

FWIW, I always enable logging on a new rule, and *then* decide to turn It
off later after the rule base has a chance to ‘soak’ and prove no problems.

Ah cool. Those are great tow rigs. I had a 37' trailer as well... chipped the
rig and it towed like a dream... and dropped only a couple of MPG. Torque curve
is where it's at.

Yes, it's just a continuity tester. Not checking A or B. It doesn't
even test for cross-over. I needed to plugged one in to get the
pattern.
They definitely crossed the cables. They connected to the patch panel
the same as all my other (B) connections, but the wall jack termination

That depends on whether the switch is gige and/or will fix the crossover issue.
Most dell switches nowadays do that, some don't. Some cisco switches do, others
don't.
I prefer to have both sides the same so there's zero confusion later down the
road.
