We (“AD Team”) control the devices. We do have a CC process in place but, it’s not required for items such as those you mentioned. Almost sounds like they should’ve just modified their process somewhat, if that’s the main reason they dumped the appliances. The Bluecat has its own CC feature

I'm still trying to get the hang of this. Here's what I need - a report of all user accounts that are in just certain OUs. Specifically - we have an OU called Disabled where we put disabled user accounts. There are 4 sub-OUs - Q1, Q2, etc. And what I want is only the accounts in Q2 and Q3.

Comparing KVMs

Looking at a new KVM for our racks. Going to choose between an Avocent AP17KMM (which looks to be very hard to locate for purchase) and a Tripplite NetDirector B020-016-17. I love my current Avocent, but it's not made any more. The Tripplite is quoted to me (after pricing the 16 cables for each

I ran Avocent IP KVMs for years, but just changed over to Tripp Lite late last year when we built out a new data center and I prefer the Tripp Lites. The difference in our scenario is that I went with Tripp Lite's 1U 16 port KVMs which can be daisy-chained and have an IP head put at the front

That's quite interesting. Sounds like Tripplite would be worth it. The KVM units I'm looking at are non-IP, but the cost for the Tripplite (with cables) is a bit over $1700. How on Earth did you get the cost for 4 of them that low? Kurt On Thu, Feb 21, 2013 at 1:08 PM, Tim Vander Kooi
