Hello everyone,
seeing if there is someone out there that can help
me with this one because i am about to smash my head on the wall.
we have a registered domain name (www.medaille.edu) for our school. our
web page is being hosted on a Unix machine and our dns is windows
2000.
we have
eg. something.somedomain.com
Then just setup the IIS as a regular web site and
server.
That way it appears that you never leave the original
domain.

the Exchange2K ForestPrep
and DomainPrep in the forest and AD domain that you will be connecting
to. Then you should be able to install the ADC service on the machine
that you want.

Bob--I've not done this yet, but don't you have to be a member of schema
admins and do this and be logged on to the schema master FSMO role holder
server? I believe you can only modify the schema from that one server.

user files on the desktop can
just use policies with the roaming profiles and dont write those directories
to your roaming profile and nyuser.dat will stay small and logon times will
be nice.

It was a browse master issue. I
printers they will be machine specific instead of user specific. You can then
change the port to point to the network printer.

Hello everyone,
was wondering if there is an easy way in exchange
5.5 to set permissions to see other people's calendar, etc. without going to
each machine and doing it through outlook. is there any place at the
server where this can be done? a company i work for on the side wants
instructions, and encourage those
that get it to help those that don't.
