Yes, GEOS was pretty damned amazing. One can only imagine computing power today if software were so efficient. I recall saving money as a kid ('80 or '81) to buy the 16K expansion for my VIC. PaperMate (word processor for the PET) didn't allow for much text in 3K. It was $116. Good times!
