viewing the welcome msg results in the subject error in the middle of the
message reading pane. Yes, I've got the Chrome Frame plugin installed, and
I've restarted IE and also rebooted since installing it.
I've installed IE8 on Vista PCs only so far and I'm puzzled with the
search engine icons that appear under the search box when one types a
search entry.
When the use does not have local admin privileges, each icon is a
magnifying glass, and they all of course look the same. When the

Yeah. the Proxy was the problem. Took that out and magically it connected.

I had 1 user that had a pdf converter toolbar installed and we had to remove it
to make IE 8 work
