sure there's a bunch of cruft left in the registry, but oh well. Forefront is
installed and running, so I'm good.

I've been using RevoUninstallerPortable for all my installs. So far it has
cleaned out a LOT or
then an uninstall of SEP12 did
the job.

Apparently you can get a wiper from Symantec if you open a case with them.
They won't post it openly.
