The 4GB limitation is per database. I know of no limit of databases per instance, but each instance is limited to 1GB RAM and 1 physical CPU. However, SQL Express is multithreaded and will take advantage of multicore CPUs. You are also limited to 16 instances per machine. Ara Avvali wrote: > The
