That sounds good, I would like to look at that. I would need to migrate from
a legacy database to a new one. They are on the same server.

And, what I've got is for Sharepoint Services, not portal serverif that
makes a difference. There "should" be KB articles on Microsoft's site with
that kind of information.

The 4GB limitation is per database.
I know of no limit of databases per instance, but each instance is
limited to 1GB RAM and 1 physical CPU. However, SQL Express is
multithreaded and will take advantage of multicore CPUs.
You are also limited to 16 instances per machine.
