For my purpose I did a java string replace on the "_" by " " and it is

Hi,
If you have a page named: chocolate_cake.html and if you search for

thanks it works perfectly although I did end up merging the segments rather
than using your MapFileReader.

Hi,
If you have a page named: chocolate_cake.html and if you search for
"chocolate", the page will not be found.
Do you know a quick solution to make Nutch retrieve chocolate_cake.html for
a chocolate or cake search?
I'm not very sure but I think it is related to the words analyzing section

Glad to hear that. We have got good response. We will be releasing it
within the next few weeks. We are still evaluating the 0.8 release and
we have noticed some bugs, which are fixed in the trunk but not in
0.8 release tar ball. I will keep you informed once we are done.

Hi all,
I would like to create a store of search terms made against my nutch build.
I was wondering if there was a recommended way to do this in nutch, out of
the box, so to speak...
I had a quick search of the mailing lists and wiki, but couldn't see
anything relevant.

Hi there,
I have noticed that nutch does not care which language is selected.
When I do a search, nutch ignores which request.parameter was sent,
instead it always uses the browsers config.
Does anyone know what has to be changed?
I tried to change the search.jsp but it will not be applied in the

I feel a bit confused about this thread, I understood that ontology support
gives you this functionality? Ontology is supported in 0.7.1 so I assume it is
supported in 0.
Hi Bill,
this starts the process as root?
That shouldn't be necessary.
One recommended way is to run tomcat as a daemon using jsvc,
see

Works fine for me.

Hi,
I would like to help. But first of all I would suggest to start wider
discussion in dev list to get more feedback/suggestions. I think one
problem can be that Nutch depends on both Lucene and Hadoop libraries
and it won't be easy to maintain these dependencies if recent versions

Well I'm up for giving it a try. My current work has me looking at both
Nutch and Maven, so what better way to understand both projects :)
I agree it is far from trivial - so if anyone here would like to collaborate
on it, that would be great.
Cheers,
