Last evening there were 41 roosting Turkey Vultures and 3 Black Vultures at the
intersection of Route 18F and Jackson Street in Lewiston, New York. At Fort
Niagara there were no Jagers etc.

Western Kingbird present on wires of Lakeshore Rd. in Somerset - across from
Fire Lanes 41A and 41B - address of 10707 Lakeshore Rd. (about 1/2 mile west of
Marshall Rd. Present at 11:40. Actively flycatching and moving around. Good

A pleasant morning walk through the Ramble. At Maintenance, a Canada
Warbler and a thrush, probably Swainson's. An Ovenbird on the path
between the east edge of Evodia and the stream above Azalea Pond. At

In anticipation of a gooding morning flight, Sue and I ventured to Robert Moses
State Park (RMSP) this morning, only to discover that Field 2 will be closed
the next four day due to construction work at the golf course. Not to be

The WESTERN KINGBIRD, first found by Brett Ewald, continued to be seen
occasionally as of 3:45 or so. It is sometimes seen on the wires along the
south side of the road but, just as often or more so, seen in the trees on

I headed out of work early to try to catch up with the Western Kingbird
reported this morning by Brett Ewald. Kayo Roy and Drew Campbell were the only
other birders at the location while I was there (5:30 - 6:00 pm).
