I went down to the mouth of the Carmans River right before sunset. Plenty of ducks (including 1 pied-billed grebe) a Great Blue Heron and distant Osprey. No eagles, but what was interesting was the presence of at least 5 Northern Harriers (no adult males). -- - Luke www.birdsoflongisland.blog
