Garden in an "Aurelia Grove" behind a transformer "tombstone" near a huge tulip

and behind a giant tulip and willow oak which stand next to a path bordering
Flatbush Ave and south of the "rose garden".

The Yellow-throated Warbler continues in brooklyn's Ft Greene Park just west of
the monument at the top of the hill. The bird is favoring some flowering trees
just west of the monument by the wide staircase. The YT is following a
Sapsucker and raiding its sap holes.

The Oak Beach Eared Grebe was found by Stan and then refound briefly by Rich
Fried and myself at the western section of Oak Beach. We saw it from the
"Fisherman's" parking lot surrounded by yellow barriers. EG moved east but we
couldn't refind it.

A hoard of birders are looking for a bright male Painted Bunting just south of
the rink at Lefrak Center in Prospect Park. Found, photographed and tweeted by
Keir Randall. Bird has not been relocated.

at the photos there were some Cave Swallows mixed in - perhaps one in four
birds was a Cave Swallow.

Just a few note. On p.26 it appears that $1.2 - 1.5 million comes from the
highway fund and only $45K - $378K (depending on water source) comes from
the Hurricane Sandy funds. This is a bit troubling in that much of our

across the lake.
