I too saw a Photo of that bird, taken at close range. No question on the
ID. American Bittern and GB Heron are around. Word is out, but no sighting
yesterday.

5:30-6:45 covering these locations respectively: RMSP (Fields 2 and
5), Captree SP (all lots) and JBWE lots. I tallied a total of 25

Interesting on the RB Nut situation. I'm still leaving a small amount of
seeds out as our wintering pair is still around. Will they stay to breed?
The seeds will stay out as long as they're around. I too had 0 RB Gulls
during my outing on Sunday, covering plenty of varied habitat.

On the 1st day of count week period for the S. Nassau CBC, I had an
opportunity to visit 9 locations within the count circle along with Suzanne
Cristallo onboard for a nice outing under calm conditions with good
visability.

State Park, highlighted by a singing Hooded, singing a quite recognizable
version of its vocal delivery. Other newly arrived species include BT Blue
at VSSP and Lesser Yellowlegs on the flats down at A.J. Hendrickson Park.

Park this afternoon at about 12:30PM. Picked up by its deep call note
