Good evening,
Today, Pete Morris and I had two Pink-footed Geese together in the marsh at
Crab Meadow Beach, in Northport, Suffolk Co.
The birds appeared to have roosted therein and eventually left to go about
their geesely business.
Good luck if you wanna see ‘em?

Just passing on the news that there is a female-type painted bunting being
seen at the Oceanside Marine Nature Study Area in Oceanside, Nassau Co.
(Long Island). Apparently it was found yesterday and is still being seen

(and many robins) in some crabapple type trees along the Golf Course Road of
Sunken Meadow Park, Suffolk Co, approximately at (40.9123501, -73.2632183).
